What we welcome

Pitch focused essays on story structure, genre, character choices, adaptation or viewing habits. A useful contribution starts with a question readers can follow and explains why its answer is more interesting than a plot recap or a thumbs-up verdict.

Make the pitch specific

Name the proposed subject, the central idea, the film or films involved and what the piece will help readers notice. Explain briefly why the angle stands apart from familiar commentary. Keep claims proportionate and flag any material that needs careful factual checking.

How to send it

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then say clearly that your message is a pitch. Include a short outline and any relevant writing samples you can share. A proposal is not a promise of publication; we will consider fit, clarity and distinctiveness.
